A practical company, built around how camps actually run.
Camp & Event Solutions Ltd designs, builds, and operates software for Scout leaders, youth groups, and outdoor operators. We are independent of The Scout Association. Our systems were built by Scout leaders for Scout leaders and youth groups.
How it started
From one district tool to a family of products
We did not start with a product roadmap. We started with a camp that needed to work. Spreadsheets and section lists were not enough for a large district event, so volunteers built registrations, registers, and leader tools — then used them the same weekend.
That weekend still shapes how we ship. If a feature does not hold up with wet hands and a queue at the gate, it is not finished.
What we will not trade away
- On-site first — field conditions beat a whiteboard
- Leaders are volunteers — software should save time
- Young people come first — health notes are not marketing data
- Honest about limits — we say what we protect
